Pratham More scores 37, claims 1 wicket against MMK College

Pratham More of Patkar Varde College had a fantastic outing with bat and ball during the Mumbai University Inter-College Cricket Tournament. The match was played at Our’s Cricket Ground in Virar.

More, batting at number three, muscled 37 runs off 29 balls against MMK College on January 13. He hit one boundary and cleared the ropes twice. In that match, he was the second-highest run-getter for his side and steered his team to 160/6 in 20 overs.

With the ball, More had a good outing too. He claimed 17/1 in three overs, coming into bowl as the first change. More claimed the prized wicket of Sujeet Jain as he clean-bowled him. Consistency was the order of the day for More as he hit the right straps.

Cricket is a sport that Juili picked up right from her childhood days. Her journey from playing with the boys in the compound walls to practising under the able aegis of Jonty Rhodes has been a spectacular one.
She was a part of Mumbai Women’s U-19 and U-23 probables during her four-year stint at the MCA. As a middle order bat and a part time medium pace bowler, she also represented Mumbai University at All-India University Women’s Cricket for two years.

In the quest of further education, she discontinued with the sport. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D in Finance from IIT Bombay’s School of Management.
