- The 2nd season of Inter College Social Hero Champion’s League was successful in bringing smile on many corneal blind children’s face on 26th February 2015 at MIG Cricket Ground, Bandra. The event sported the campaign “Blindness Ki Dandi Gull” which was an active initiative and organised by Broad & Wide Advertising in association with Rotary Club.
DG of Rotary Club Mr. Ajay Gupta & President of Rotary Club Mr. Rajul Pathak, Corporator Mr. Parag Alavani, Vagad Chowisi President Mr. Laxmichand Charla were among the dignitaries present during the event to support the cause and encourage the budding cricketers. Former fast bowler of Indian Cricket team Mr. Subroto Banerjee also contributed his supported towards the social cause.
MATCH SUMMARY – Poddar Dragons Vs Ruparel Conquerors 
Poddar Dragons won the toss and elected to bat first which seemed a liked a good decision since their batters put forth an aggressive target of 162 for loss of 9 wickets. The top order chipped in equally Vaidik Murker 23(20), Akash Anand 58(38), Prasad Ghume 31(30). The only notable performance from Ruparel bowling side was that of Nehal Katakdhond who finished with 4 overs – 26 runs – 4 wickets.
Ruparel Conquerors batters kept loosing wickets on a regular basis. The lone fighter, Sachin Ruparel held his ground firm on one end and scored a brilliant century. He scored 100 off 92 balls with six 6’s and four 4’s. After Sachin’s run out, things looked daunting for Ruparel. However it was a close finish to a deserving final of Social Hero Champions league 2015. In the end Ruparel fell short by 4 runs, scoring 158 for loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Sachin from Ruparel college was adjudged man of the match for his fighter knock of 100.
