Openers Sagar (56*) & Shrawan Gawde (94) steer Phoenix to a win in Chanwala 40 Overs Trophy Season 2

New Way Travels opting to bat first scored a total of 164/10 in 38.2 overs. Middle Order Players Sanjay Raut (43 runs) and Santosh Mandlik (49 runs) were the top scorers for their team. From the bowlers, Karuna Tiwari with 3/17 in 5.2 overs was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 165, Phonix Openers Sagar and Shrawan Gawde took on the opposition bowlers with aggression stitching 151 runs for the 1^st wicket in mere 20.4 overs. Sagar batted till the end scoring 56 off 54 balls while Shrawan played the accelerator’s role smashing 94 runs in 74 balls smashing 12 fours and a six.
