Opener Vedant Mayekar’s solid 71 steers United CC to a win in the Bhaskar Trophy Semis’19

Navroz CC and United CC took on each other at the Cross Maidan with Navroz opting to bat first scoring 129/4 in 23 overs. United CC on the chased down the score with superlative ease as Vedant Mayekar opening the innings went on to score a match winning 71 runs. Vedant faced 54 balls with 7 fours scoring a swashbuckling 71 runs. His opening partner Soham Sali also chipped in with 33 runs as United CC won the match by 9 wkts.

What’s more Vedant also affected two run outs and gave just 14 runs in 5 overs making it an all-round performance.
