Opener Aryan Chauhan’s 158 steers Gaud Saraswat CC to a finals win in the U14 Ageas Federal Insurance Cup’21

Played at Vengarkar Academy Mahul Ground, Gaud Saraswat CC batting first posted a more than decent total of 298/4 in 40 overs. All eyes were on opener Aryan Chauhan who  top scored for his team with a massive 158 off 114 balls smashing 16 fours and 1 six. Aryan was also well supported by Aarush (52 runs) and Auwab Kunni (71 runs) as Gaud Saraswat reached a commanding total in their quota of 40 overs.

Chasing 299 in 40 overs is never going to be easy for any team and especially when it’s the finals. Ageas Federal Vengsarkar Academy were all out for 132/9 with Shivank Rao scoring 40* for his team. The bowlers did a good job sticking to their line and length as spinner Mann Bhanushali took 4/14 being the pick of the lot while Kavya Gori chipping in with 2 wickets.

Result: Gaud Saraswat CC win the finals by 166 runs
