OIS Tigers win on the back of some tight bowling in the Zooter International School Dad’s Tournament’19
OIS Tigers opting to bat first at Somaiya Cricket Ground posted a healthy total of 146/9 in 20 overs. Opener Ajit Virvani top scored with 31 runs off 35 balls while the rest of the batters gave starts but could not convert it into something substantial. From the bowlers, Sushil Sanghvi with 3/28 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.
Chasing 147 is indeed not something impossible in modern day T20 but OIS Tigers ensured they bowled tight and kept the Camp Rangers batsman in check. Such was their tight bowling, CAMP Rangers could only muster 108/6 in 20 overs on the back of Mukund Dhondge’s 3/12 in 4 overs including a maiden. The rest of the bowlers also bowled really well as OIS Tigers went on to win the match by 38 runs.
