NR Cricket Academy secured a resounding victory against S.P. Group Cricket Academy in the semi-finals of the Rajhans Cricket One-Day Tournament, played at the historic Oval Maidan. The 35-over encounter witnessed a stunning all-round performance by Yash Gupta, who played a key role in NR Cricket Academy’s six-wicket triumph.

Yash Gupta Shines with Bat and Ball

Winning the toss, S.P. Group Cricket Academy opted to bat first. However, their innings was dismantled by Yash Gupta’s fiery bowling spell, as the young star grabbed five wickets for just 12 runs in five overs, restricting the opposition to a modest 177 runs. His lethal spell left S.P. Group struggling to build partnerships.

In response, NR Cricket Academy chased down the target in just 20 overs, courtesy of an explosive batting display led by none other than Yash Gupta himself. He smashed 65 runs, peppering the field with nine fours and four sixes, while Rishabh Sharma provided strong support with 57 off 34 balls, including eight boundaries and two sixes. Their aggressive approach ensured NR Cricket Academy’s commanding six-wicket victory, sealing their spot in the tournament final.

For his match-winning all-round performance, Yash Gupta was named ‘Man of the Match’, reinforcing his reputation as one of the tournament’s brightest young talents.
