Nikhil Patil SR’s crucial 50 at no.7 alongiwith tight bowling by spinners steers Fort Vijay CC to a win in the B Division League’19

Fort Vijay CC after being put to bat first at DPC, Dadkar Maidan managed to put up a total of 119/10 in 34.1 overs. Despite a top order collapse with half of the team back to pavilion with just 32 runs on the board, it was left handed Nikhil Patil Sr at no .7 scoring a match winning 50 off 44 balls (1 four, 3 sixes). DPC bowlers did a good job with almost every bowler chipping in with wickets.

 Dadar Parsi Colony team were beaten up on their own ground as left arm spinners consisting of in form Madhusadan Acharya (4/27) and Kunal Thorat (4/30) running their batting line up. Medium pacer Rohit Yadav with 3/21 was also quite effective restricting DPC to 97 all out in 30 overs. 

Result: Fort Vijay CC clinched a memorable win over the opposition on their homeground.
