Mumbai Set to Witness Its First-Ever U12, U14, U16 & U19 Day-Night Cricket Tournament

In a landmark event for junior cricket, Shri Kokan Krida Mandal is organizing the  Mumbai Championship League – Day-Night Cricket Tournament for young cricketers in the U12, U14, U16, and U19 categories. For the first time ever, a junior day-night tournament will take place, giving budding cricketers a platform to showcase their talent under floodlights.

The tournament kicks off on March 24, 2025, at Mhatrepada Cricket Ground, Posari, Kalyan Dombivli. With 16 teams competing, each team will play three matches in a 25-over format. Special rules ensure maximum participation, with 11 players allowed to bat while the remaining squad members can field and bowl.

Tournament Details & Requirements

Age Groups: U12, U14, U16 & U19

Cut-off Date: Players must be born on or after September 1, 2011

Mandatory: Birth certificates must be submitted before the match

Entry Fee: ₹30,000 (Includes umpire fees, ground charges, scorer & ball charges)

Coloured Jerseys will be provided to all teams
