MRV Risers wins on the back of Pramod’s all-round show & Raj Soni’s 52* in JFSC Dads Premier League’21

JNS Toros after being put to bat first at Fatima Cricket Ground in Vidyavihar, Mumbai could not muster a big total on board scoring 137/5 in 20 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to convert their starts into big scores with Harish Shroff at no.3 top scoring with 41 runs off 36 balls. All-rounder Pramod Chandan bowled a tight spell of 3/18 in 4 overs being the pick of the lot for MRV Risers.

Chasing 138, MRV Risers chased down the score in 16.4 overs winning the match by 8 wickets. Opener Raj Soni scored a solid 52 off 44 balls to anchor the chase while all-rounder Pramod Chandan played the finishers role at the middle order scoring a crucial 38* off 32 balls pushing MRV Risers to a comfortable win. Pramod Chandan for his all-round performance was declared ‘Player of the Match”
