Mann Koli Spins A Web As Piyush’s 80* Helps Milton CC Advance In Kanga Knockout

Milton Cricket Club dominated int their first match of the Kanga Knockout at DPC, Matunga against Jaideep Cricket Club. After a crucial toss victory, Milton CC elected to bowl first. Jaideep CC could muster up only 105 runs as they were bowled out in the 26th over. Just two batsman passed the 20-run mark in the first innings. From Milton, Mann Koli bowled an exceptional spell of 6 overs, claiming 4/20 with 2 maidens two his name. He was well supported by Siddhant Welankar who picked up 3 wickets.

A strong bowling effort by Milton in the first innings gave them the upper hand by the end of the first innings. The batsmen took little to no effort while chasing down the target. Chasing just 106, Piyush Shapur hammered and unbeaten 80 off just 48 balls. His innings comprised of 11 fours and 2 sixes. His bombarding innings helped Parth Mayekar rotate strike without pressure.

Ultimately, the target was achieved in just 13 overs without losing a wicket. A dominant display from Milton saw them advance to the next round of the knockout tournament.
