Manish Yadav’s Five-Fer Steers Indusind Bank to a win in Times Shield’22
On May 4, Pidilite Sports Club and Indusind Bank clashed against each other at Cross Maidan in Mumbai during the Times Shield. Pidilite won the toss and elected to bat.
Batting first, Pidilite had a horrid day with the bat as they were bowled out for 85 in 18.5 overs. Indusind Bank’s opening bowler Manish Yadav wreaked havoc with the ball as she scalped 5-11 in four overs. Yadav bowled well with the new ball and rattled the opposition with his disciplined bowling effort. On the other hand, Rohan top scored for Pidilite with a 16-ball 18.
In reply, Indusind Bank cruised to the target in just 11.3 overs winning the match by six wickets. Opening batter Jay Gaba led the run chase with a 24-ball 29, including four boundaries. On the other hand, Pidilite’s Anthony was the pick of the bowlers as he claimed 2-23 in four overs.
Manish Yadav was the top performer in the match. Yadav’s five wicket haul helped Indusind Bank register a six wicket win over Pidilite in Times Shield.
