Jaysingh sings songs of success as Kipril beats HDFC Bank in Woods T20 Bowled Out Corporate Cricket match
On 3rd April, Kipril Pvt Ltd locked horns against HDFC Bank in Mumbai during the Woods T20 Bowled Out Corporate Cricket Tournament. Batting first, Kipril posted a challenging 151-8 in their full quota of 20 overs. Coming in the lower middle order Akash Sheth (17 runs off 25 balls) and Jaysingh Dhaliwal (75 not out off 37 balls) played some wonderful knocks to help their team post a respectable total. Jaysingh was a treat to watch as he smacked the ball all-round the park. He scored at a strike rate of over 200 and was lethal on the bowlers. Prathamesh and Nishant were the pick of the bowlers picking up two wickets each.
HDFC managed to put up a strong fight but were bundled out against the run of play for 141 in 19.3 overs, falling short of just 10 runs. Opening bat Darshan top scored with 35 runs off 38 balls but his efforts went in vain as none of his team-mates gave him company in the run chase. Anand Thakkar shined with the ball as he grabbed 4-28 in his four overs. Jaysingh also rolled his arm over to pick up 2-35 in his four overs.
Jaysingh Dhaliwal (75 not out off 37 balls and 2-35 in 4 overs) was bestowed with the Man of the Match prize for his scintillating all-round performance.
