Jay Bista & Sachin Bhosale stand out in Victory Cricket Club’s 3-wicket win

In a low-scoring affair, Victory Cricket Club defeated Mumbai Police Gymkhana by three wickets during the Young Comrade Shield. The game was played from December 24 to 25. Victory Cricket Club won the toss and elected to field.

Put into bat first, Mumbai Police Gymkhana’s innings was done and dusted for 182 in 41.2 overs. Aarya Nikam was the lone warrior in the fight with a gritty 76. Yogesh Patil chipped in with 38 but failed to capitalise on the start. On the other hand, Victory Cricket Club’s Sachin Bhosale was the most successful bowler with 59/4.

In reply, chasing a modest 183, Victory Cricket Club overhauled the target in 36.5 overs and won the match by three wickets. Jay Bista starred with the bat scoring a stellar 92 and guiding his team to a relatively comfortable win. On the other hand, Mumbai Police Gymkhana’s Yogesh Patil was the pick of the bowlers with 58/3.
