Harpeet’s fiery 86 makes him bag ‘Elemnt’ MoM Award while Shubhash Singh grabs ‘Hell Energy’ Economical Player Award in the ongoing JFSC 40+ League’22
Men in Blue opting to bat first at Fatima Cricket Ground in Vidyavihar had a batting feast notching up a stunning 219/3 in 20 overs. Even though, they lost both the openers early, Ajit Naik and Harpreet Singh at the middle order put on 162 run stand for the 4th wicket changing the course of the game. No.3 Ajit scored 80* off 49 balls smashing 8 fours and 3 sixes while Harpreet Singh who came at no.5 plonked 5 sixes and 9 fours en-route his 86* off mere 39 balls. Almost all the bowlers got thrashed apart from Ashish Redij who only conceded 24 runs in 4 overs.
Thunderbolts in reply could only muster 140/9 in 20 overs courtesy some tight bowling performance by Men in Blue bowlers. Subhash Kumar in particular was the most impressive of the lot returning with envious bowling figures of 3/10 in 4 overs.
Men in Blue won the match by 79 runs, Harpreet Singh declared ‘Elemnt’ Man of the Match Award as well as ‘Malkist’ Super Striker of the Match. Subhas Kumar was declared ‘Hell Energy” Economical Player of the Match.
