Half centuries by Srujan and Aman alongwith Dhrumil’s fifer helps Rizvi win semis in Inter Collegiate Tournament’19

Rizvi College after being put to bat first at the National CC ground pounced upon the bowlers hitting 395 runs in their quota of 45 overs (22 runs penalty). Openers Onkar Jadhav (47) and Srujan gave a solid start of 84 runs for the 1^st wicket while Aman coming at no.3 continued the onslaught stitching a 96 run stand with Srujan. Aman Khan smashed 71 runs in his usual aggressive batting style while it was an equally impressive 75 by the opener Srujan which propelled team towards a big total. The rest of the batsman chipped in with 20’s and 30’s which came in quite handy.

Khalsa College in reply were all out for 139 runs thanks to a ravishing spell by Dhrumil Matkar which changed the game in his team’s favor.

Khalsa who have a solid batting line up lost the semi- finals by 256 runs as Dhrumil came up with bowling figures of 5/18 in 7 overs taking breakthroughs at regular intervals.
