Experienced Nikhil Patil’s’ 91* helps Parsee Gymkhana clinch a win in the Purshottam Shield ‘18

Nikhil Patil who had scored a brilliant 114 a few weeks ago and has been amongst the runs this season continues to be a pillar for Parsee Gymkhana’s middle order.

In the recently held match between Shivaji Park Gymkhana and Parsee Gymkhana at the Shivaji Park, Dadar, Shivaji Park were all out for 159 runs with Sanket Bhaye scoring a crucial 58 at the middle order. From the bowlers, Akash Ayyar and Akarshit Gomel bagged 3wkts each.

Parsee Gymkhana who were 19/2 at one point got back into the game as their reliable middle order batsman Nikhil Patil scored a match winning 91* (102 balls). Nikhil as always soaked the pressure smashing 10 fours and 2 sixes as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 5 wkts.
