Dhrumil’s fifer, Vikrant Auti (127 runs) & all-Rounder Prasad Pawar (183 runs) shine for Mumbai Customs in the A Div Times Shield’22
Played at Air India Ground in Santa Cruz, Air India Sports Club opting to bat first were all out for 137 runs in 31.3 overs. Mumbai Ranji Spinner Dhrumil Matkar brought in his skills at the right time returning with excellent bowling figures of 5/50 in 9 overs.
Mumbai Customs in reply dominated with the bat on opposition’s homeground notching up 438 runs for the loss of 8 wkts in 97.1 overs. After losing both the openers early, No.3 Batsman Vikrant Auti and Prasad Pawar at no.4 stitched a massive 267 run stand for the 3rd wicket which turned things around. Vikrant scored a solid 127 runs off 164 balls (16 fours and a six) while Prasad top scored in the match with a brilliant 183 off 236 balls (23 fours and 2 sixes).
Air India in the 2nd innings were 106/9 in 38.4 overs before the end of the game’s play where Mumbai Customs won the match on 1st innings. Royston Dias and Dhrumil Matkar bagged 4 wkts each while Dhrumil ended the match with bowling figures of 9/91 in 24 overs.
