Dhaka Cricket Academy, Delhi won the 6th All India Var Sports Cricket Tournament by defeating KG Colts by 2 runs (D/L Method) in Under 15 category.

In the final match curtailed by rain, Dhaka Cricket Academy batted first and scored 108 runs in 20 overs. Aditya Singh scored 28, Daksh Vij 20. Sanchit captured 5 wickets for KG Colts and played an important role in restricting Dhaka to a modest total.

As rain emerged as spoilsport, KG Colts were given a revised target of 33 runs in 6 overs. But in what was a dramatic performance by Dhaka bowlers, led by Ujjwal Sapra who took 7 wickets, they restricted KG Colts to 31 run in 6 overs with 8 wickets down and won the match by 2 runs.

It was an absolute cracker of a match. 33 runs in 6 overs is a cake walk on most days but this was not one of them. Ujjwal Sapra literally demolished KG Colt’s innings and picked up 7 out of 8 wickets to fall.

Fittingly, Ujjwal Sapra was adjudged the Best Bowler. Aditya Singh bagged the Man of the Series Award. Best Emerging player was given to Vansh Bedi of Dhaka Cricket Academy.
