About Nishant Jani :

Nishant Jani is a high performance cricket coach with experience of working with top level players across India. Nishant is currently the Assistant Coach of Saurashtra Ranji Trophy and Saurashtra U19 Women’s Team. Nishant has also Coached Saurashtra U19 Men’s Team. As far as his certifications are concerned, Nishant Jani is ICC Level 2 Certified Cricket Coach and he also serves as Head Coach at Axel Sports Academy, Morbi, Gujarat. Nishant trains many age group state level cricketers and he is known for his personal attention to every player he works on.

For the uninitiated, Nishant is also amongst the Top 10 Sidearm Specialists in India with numerous variations to ensure quality practice for professional cricketers. From quick yorkers to bouncers to short stuff, Nishant often brings in his own elements which helps players improve their skillset. Nishant credits his cricketing journey to Coach Umesh Patwal sir who is currently the Head Coach of Mumbai U19 Team. Umesh Patwal has also coached International teams like Nepal and Afghanistan. Nishant credits Umesh sir for mentoring him since last 10 years. Over the years, Nishant has worked with top level cricketers ranging from Chirag Suri (UAE International Cricketer), Sheldon Jackson (India A, IPL & Ranji), Jaydev Unadkat (India, IPL & Ranji), Chirag Pathak (Ranji), Latika Sangwan (India Women’s) amongst others. Nishant has also worked with Nepal U19 team and he is available for online mentoring for players across all age groups.
