In a series of thrilling matches during the Young Comrade Shield 2024-25, two emerging talents from NL Vision Cricket Academy have captured the spotlight with their stellar performances.
On 31st January 2024, in a gripping encounter between Parkophene Cricketers and Goregaon Sports Club, Parkophene batted first and amassed a total of 336 runs. The highlight of the innings was the brilliant knock by right-handed batsman Ruturaj Sane, who scored a commanding 107 runs off 116 balls. His innings, punctuated by 12 fours and a six, played a crucial role in setting a competitive platform for his team.
Less than a month later, on 15th February 2024, another exciting clash unfolded between Shivaji Park Gymkhana and Muslim United Sports Club. Batting first,Shivaji Park Gymkhana put up an impressive total of 358 runs. Roopkumar Yadav was the star of the show, contributing a well-crafted century by scoring 103 runs off 141 balls, which included 13 fours and 4 sixes. His resilient performance provided a solid foundation for his team’s formidable score.
