Bombay Gymkhana thrashed MIG Cricket Club by 239 runs in match number 21 (Group C) of the Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament. Bombay Gymkhana won the toss and elected to bat.

Riding on Nikhil Patil’s stellar 154, Bombay Gymkhana piled up a daunting total of 402/6 in 70 overs. Patil found able allies in Agni Chopra (85), Yash Malap (53), and Bhupen Lalwani (42), who made valuable contributions with the bat. On the other hand, for MIG Cricket Club, Atharva Ankolekar, was the pick of the bowlers with 119/3. 

In reply, MIG Cricket Club were bundled out cheaply for 163 in 33.2 overs, losing the match by a massive margin of 239 runs. Vedant Murkar (44) and Viraj Gamre (43) fought hard but failed to see their side home. On the other hand, for Bombay Gymkhana, Salman Khan and Nipun Panchal were the most successful bowlers, with three scalps apiece.
