Bhavik’s 61 goes in vain as Turf Blasters win in the Somira Patan Premier League’19

SK Strikers opting to bat first at Central Railway Cricket Ground posted a total of 138/8 in 20 overs. Even though most of the batsman found it difficult to get going, it was Bhavik Shah coming up with a rescuing knock of 61 runs in 44 balls laced with 6 fours and 3 sixes saving his team from the clutches of a low total. Opposite team skipper Ambish Shah with 3/9 in 4 overs was quite spot on being the pick of the bowlers for Turf Blasters.

Chasing 139 looked like a mere formality for Turf Blasters as they chased down the total in 19.3 overs winning the match by 7 wkts. Viral Shah (28) & Manit Shah (28) were the top scorers for their side while the rest of the batters also chipped in with cameos.
