At 44th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament Regd. Today on a rain affected day AC sports vs Vijay Dahiya Cricket Academy. Fought for pre quater final spot in which Vijay Dahiya Academy got over the line as victorious.
In a rain curtailed day match got reduced to 30 overs each side. After winning the toss Vijay Dahiya Academy chose to ball first in a hope of getting early breakthroughs, in which they somehow got success as Kuldeep Hooda bowled a nice spell of fast bowling with that AC sports got themselves on backfoot.
Vikram Dhariwal (captain) played an valient & experienced knock of 62 in 47 balls (4×3, 6×4). After his dismissal Shivam Sharma & Sunil More took responsibilty to score quick runs & get them a respectable score to chase.
Shivam scored 59 in 65 balls (4×7, 6×1) Sunil More scored 40 in 29 balls (4×3, 6×1)

In bowling department Kuldeep Hooda, Vision Panchal, Gurdeep Singh Sodhi took 2 wickets each to restrict on a competitive target of 205 in stipulated 30 overs.

In reply AC Sports fast bowlers bowled a unplayable spell from both ends. As they reduced Vijay Dahiya Academy to 50 for 6 in 7 overs.
Mrinal Saini bowled a splended new ball spell as he took 3 for 35 & Achal Singla bowled in tendum & toom 3 for 45 as well.
But both fast bowlers efforts went in vein as the loss the match by 2 wickets in final over of the innings.
Kuldeep Hooda played a scinitilating, all round innings of 97 in which huge sixes (4×6, 6×7), he batted with brut power he fell short of a fine hundred by 3 runs only.
He got valient support at the other end by Ankur Jhulka who scored 38 not out with an Groin injury.
Vijay Dahiya Academy won the match by 2 wickets in 29.2 overs.
