All-rounder Saurav Nautyal’s 114 & 4wkts helps Delhi Team win in the 1st G.S T20 Cup‘18
Played between Delhi Team and Gujarat Team at the Green Park Ground, Delhi team who are well accustomed to their home grounds made the visitors bat first with an aim of restricting them to a chaseable total and chasing it down with ease.
Gujarat team however did a good job notching up a very healthy total of 173/8 in 20overs with every batsman chipping in with 10”s and 20’s. All-rounder Saurav Nautiyal who has had a fantastic season so far both with the bat as well as with the ball continued his good show bagging 4/18 in 4overs being the pick of the bowlers while Ayush Singh also bowled well taking 2/23 in his 4overs.
Chasing 174 at almost 9runs per over, Left-handed Saurav Nautiyal who opened the innings once again destroyed the opposition with his firebrand batting smashing a breath taking 115* off mere 47balls smashing 15fours and 5sixes to plunder the bowlers in every corner of the ground. The rest of the batsman also chipped in as Delhi team won the match by 7wkts and 5.1 overs to spare.
Scoring a ton alongwith 4 or 5wkts in the same game of a T20 is not at all easy and this is the 3rd or the 4th time Saurav has given a similar sort of perfomance this year which speaks a lot about his calibre and talent.
