All-Rounder Ayush Jethwa from SVIS slams a Double ton & takes 6 wkts in the ongoing Harris Shield‘18

Well this is not the 1^st time Ayush has impressed the cricketing community with his stellar cricketing talent. He has slammed hundreds like Kohli at the school level and even double hundreds in the past 2 years. He has taken wickets as well as averaged 50.00+ with the bat across all tournaments but what he did in the latest match of Harris Shield 2018-19 was something really special.

Played at the RTO Ground, Azad Maidan, SVIS Borivali won the toss and elected to bat first posting a massive total of 422/4 in 70 overs. Ayush Vartak who scored a double in the CPCC finals scored an aggressive 75 while Ayush Jethwa was the game changer hitting a swashbuckling 228* off mere 122 balls. Playing at a strike rate of 200+ and smashing 39 fours, 3sixes in a 45 over match just showed what Ayush is capable of. The little wonder Ayush thrashed the bowlers making it look like a T20 match.

In reply, SIES School were all out for 69 runs and it was Ayush with the ball too bagging a stunning 6 wkts for just 13 runs as SVIS Gorai won by a big margin of 353 runs.
