All-Round performance by Ayush Vartak helps SVIS win in the MI Inter School Tournament’19

SVIS after being put to bat first at Azad Maidan were all out for a low total of 179 runs in 34.1 overs.  Skipper Ayush Vartak coming at no.3 played a match saving innings smashing an aggressive 83 off 68 balls (8 fours). Despite lacking support from the other hand, Ayush kept on playing his natural game taking SVIS to a respectable total.

Anjuman Islam School in reply were bundled out for 156 runs thanks to some really tight bowling by the SVIS boys. Skipper Ayush who top scored with the bat also came good with the ball taking 3/31 in 7 overs with his off spin.

SVIS Borivali won the match by 23 runs and it was Ayush ensuring his team reaches the league round matches with his all-round show.
