Al-Barkaat and IES English School to lock horns for the ultimate Harris Shield Finals ‘19
Rizvi Springfield after being made to bat first at Bombay Gymkhana Fort notched up 209/9 in 96 overs. Opening the innings, Rizvi’s consistent opener Abhinav Singh top scored for his team with a gritty 94 off 234 balls saving his team from a low total. Al-Barkat in reply were 186/7 in 80 overs with Prem Naik (53) and Saumil Malandkar (55) hitting half centuries. Even though the match ended in a draw but Al Barkar were adjudged winners on the basis of net run rate

In the 2nd semis between IES New English School Bandra and VN Sule Guruji High School, VN Sule opting to bat first were bundled out for 118 runs thanks to a wonderful bowling spell by Shubham Kharat who came up with bowling figures of 6/29 in 18.5 overs. IES New English School in reply made 197/5 with Anurag Nair hitting a half century as they won the match on 1st innings lead.
The finals between Al-barkat and IES English School will be between January 8 to January 10 at the Bombay Gymkhana Ground.
