AFS Cricket League: Bimla Devi Cricket Centre defeats home team by 10 wickets; Abhishek Verma’s 47 ball 70 goes in vain

In their second match, Bimla Devi Cricket Centre looked a different team as they completely dominated the home team, AFS Cricket Club, eventually defeating them by 10 wickets and opened their account in the tournament.

BDCC won the toss and elected to field first, a decision later on proved correct. All they had to do was to overcome Abhishek Verma‘s superb knock of 70 runs (47 balls, 4×4, 6×7) and they were successful in doing so as they didn’t allow any other batsman to flourish. As a result, AFS Club were restricted to just 135/8 in 20 overs.

In reply, BDCC chased down the total rather comfortably by 10 wickets thanks to Swapnil R. Tiwari‘s unbeaten knock of 69 runs (56 balls, 4×11, 1×6).
