Abhishek Nagwekar’s quick 70 helps JFS Smashers win in the Jolly Friends Matunga League’18

Played between JFS Smashers and Digital Broadcast, JFS Smashers electing to bat first notched up 172/10 in 19.4 overs. Opener Jatin gave a good start with 44 runs but it was Abhishek changing the game with his quickfire 70 off 42 balls (4 fours, 5 sixes). Abhishek smashed the bowlers with will as he helped his team reach a competitive total.

Digital Broadcast in reply fought well but eventually fell short of 3 runs in a nail biting thriller. Digital Broadcast were 169/7 at the end of the 20 overs where in every batsman chipped in with 20’s and 30’s.

JFS Smashers won the match by 3 runs while Abhishek Nagwekar was declared ‘man of the match’
