Abhigyan Kundu makes it into India’s Book of Records for scoring Maximum Runs by an U16 Teenager

Abhigyan Kundu is a 13yr old young prodigy from Mumbai who has been groomed at Avinash Salvi Foundation since his early days. A compact left handed top order batsman, Abhigyan has grabbed attention everytime he comes at the crease for the confidence at which he bats vs any age group bowlers.

All but 13, Abhigyan has raked in 24,500 runs across all formats which includes 117 half centuries and 82 hundreds across all tournaments and across all formats. That’s not all! the young left hander has a stunning batting average of 70.00 while amassing those 24000+ runs! Abhigyan has been consistently scoring runs since many seasons and he is making a strong case for himself to make it into the Mumbai team.

His run scoring ability and his record 24,500 runs so far has made him a WORLD RECORD holder in the Indian Book of World Records too. Abhigyan holds the record for scoring maximum runs for an U16 Teenager. Abhigyan trains under Coach Chetan Jadhav at Avinash Salvi Foundation and the Coach as well as the Academy have played a great role in shaping Kundu’s career so far.
