Aashni Legends beat Aadi Strikers by 6 runs in the Tyrant Premier League
On October 11, Aashni Legends took on Aadi Strikers during the fifth edition of the Tyrant Premier League (TPL) at the Catholic Gymkhana Turf in Mumbai. The game was a 13-overs-a-side affair. The TPL is sponsored by Biloki and organised by WallE events.
Winning the toss and electing to field first, Aadi Strikers restricted Aashni Legends to 95/5 in 13 overs. Opening batter Parth Deep top-scored with a blistering 27 off 23 to help Aashni Legends put up a competitive score. Rishi Tater, too starred with the bat muscling 24 off 21. For Aadi Strikers, Rahul Dhokad was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 17/2 in two overs.
In reply, Aadi Strikers fought hard and scored 89/7 in 13 overs. Middle-order batter Yashesh led the run chase from the front with a 15-ball 21. However, his effort went in vain as Aadi Strikers fell shy of six runs. On the other hand, for Aashni Legends, Vishal was the most successful bowler with 6/2 in one over. First with the bat and then with the ball, Tater claimed 11/1 in one over.
Aashni Legends’ Rishi Tater bagged the player of the match for his all-around performance against Aadi Strikers during the TPL match.
