Aarya, Akash, Vaibhav, Sanket shine in CCI’s 5-wicket win over Muslim United Sports Club
Cricket Club of India (CCI) took on Muslim United Sports Club on January 14 and 15 during the Young Comrade Shield. Muslim United Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat.
Batting first, Muslim United Sports Club were bundled out for a humble 195 in 58.5 overs. Dhruv Thakkar was the lone warrior in the fight for Muslim United Sports Club as he top-scored with 79. On the other hand, CCI’s Vaibhav Mali and Sanket Yashwante were the most successful bowlers with three wickets each.
In reply, CCI completed the formalities in 39 overs and won the match by five wickets. Aarya Satpute led the run chase from the front with an unbeaten 79 and received good support from Akash Parkar (52). For Muslim United Sports Club, Pushkaraj Chavan was the pick of the bowlers with 76/3.
