A Visionary Journey: Chandresh Lodha School’s Cricket Evolution
During our visit to Chandresh Lodha Memorial School in Nilje, Lodha Heaven, Dombivli, we were struck by the unique institution dedicated to providing quality education to students in Dombivli and its surrounding areas. The school’s infrastructure is designed to create an optimal environment for learning, fostering an atmosphere where students can receive the best education possible.
We were privileged to learn about the school and its dynamic principal, Mrs. Laxmi Naidu. Her unwavering commitment, pioneering spirit, and dedication have made her an inspiration to students and the school community. Her leadership has propelled cricket into the spotlight at the school.
The parents of the young cricketers are a driving force behind their success. Their unwavering belief in their children’s talents, sacrifices, and encouragement are the pillars of support for the budding cricketers. Parents motivate their children to pursue their dreams without limits and readily make personal sacrifices to help them achieve their goals.
The coaching team, led by Head coach Mr. Nikhil Manjrekar, along with coaches Vihang, Akshay, and Prathamesh, goes beyond mere mentoring; they are truly sculptors of talent and character. Their guidance and mentorship extend well beyond the cricket field, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. These coaches have played a pivotal role in transforming raw talent into skillful athletes, preparing them for the competitive world of cricket.
The teaching staff at Chandresh Lodha School are the unsung heroes who work diligently behind the scenes, ensuring that the cricket team can balance their focus on both their game and their studies. They play a vital role in supporting the students, ensuring they excel academically while pursuing their passion for cricket.
As the team prepares for prestigious school tournaments like the “Harris Shield” and “Giles Shield,” they are not just aiming to showcase their cricketing prowess but also the values and character that define Chandresh Lodha School. These tournaments have a rich history of unearthing talents like 14-year-old Sachin Tendulkar and 16-year-old Vinod Kambli, who left an indelible mark in history by adding 664 runs between each other during the Harris Shield semifinal match.
It was great to hear that CLMS a school will be participating in prestigious cricket tournaments organized by MCA and MSSA. It’s indeed a noteworthy achievement, especially if only a few schools from Thane, Dombivli, and Kalyan are taking part. Best of luck to CLMS in the upcoming tournaments.
In conclusion, the school community extends its deepest appreciation to all those who have contributed to making dreams come true, from the principal to the parents, coaching staff, and teaching team. Together, they have created an environment where success, sportsmanship, and excellence thrive. Chandresh Lodha School’s cricket journey has only just begun, and the future looks promising, thanks to the dedication and support of these remarkable individuals.
