Hitesh Helps SHM Edge Out Shiv Shakti In A Narrow Battle

Friendship Trophy 2023 witnessed a nail-biting battle between Shiv Sakti CC and SHM as the latter prevailed with a slight margin. Shiv Shakti put up a total of 146 for the loss of 8 wickets as opener Swapnil Chaudhari scored a blistering knock of 47. He was aided by Ninad Labre down the order, scoring an unbeaten 35 off just 18 balls. On the bowling side, Sanjay Dinani was the pick of the bowlers, who claimed 3 wickets in 4 overs conceding just 13 runs. Hitesh and Kishore claimed 2 wickets a piece.

Chasing down the total, SHM’s Hitesh started off things by scoring a steady 34. As his wicket fell, Yogesh Rorha took the reigns and played a match-winning knock of 44 off just 31 balls. SHM narrowly won the game by just 3 wickets in the final over of the game.
