Star CC’s Pacer Juned Khan bags 7/16 in Madhav Mantri Tournament’22

Played at Young Zoroastrian, Azad Maidan, Borivali CC opting to bat first were cleaned up for 110 runs in 27.1 overs. Opener Neelaksh Tambe scored 65 runs alone in Borivali CC’s team total of 110 runs. The bowler who grabbed everyone’s attention was Right arm fast bowler Juned Khan returning with amazing bowling figures of 7/16 in 7 overs. Juned was spot on with his line and length providing timely breakthroughs.

Star CC however received a great fightback from Borivali CC bowlers as they got all out for 79 runs with Imam Hussain taking 4wkts for 7 runs. Star CC won the match by 31 runs but was Juned Khan who marked his presence with an impressive 7 wkt haul.
