All-Rounder Atharva Kosireddy continues to impress in the MCA U14 Ghantali Trophy’19
Saraswati Vidyalaya took on Chandrakant Patkar School at the Central Maidan Thane where in batting first they notched up 310/5 in their 1st innings. The highlight of their innings was a brilliant 186 run stand between Atharva and Saukhay Madhvi. Saukhay scored a sublime 137 off 194 balls which had 19 fours and 3 sixes while Atharva scored an anchoring knock of 113 ball 50 (4fours).
Defending 311, Chandrakant Patkar School were bundled out for 118 runs. The tormentor in chief from the bowling department was medium pacer Atharva who came up with stunning bowling figures of 7/28 in 8 overs. Atharva was spot on with the ball not allowing any batsman to settle as Saraswati Vidyalaya won the match by 192 runs and enter the league stage of the Tournament.
Atharva Kosireddy who took 5/16 in 6 overs vs Saraswati Secondary School in Round 1 match seems to be in excellent form.
