The KP Show- Kaustub takes a 10wkt haul & Smashes 103 for Tata Sports in Times Shield ‘18

Played between Tata Sports Club and Income Tax Recreation Club, Tata Sports winning the toss elected to bat first at the Karnatak Cross Maidan. Their decision to bowl first was quite accurate as they bundled out the opposition for 148/all out with Kaustub Pawar being the pick of the bowlers taking 5/22 in 11 overs. Kaustub was spot on with his line and length troubling the batsman to the hilt.

Tata Sports in reply made a huge score of 483/5 as their openers Kaustub and Chirag Khurana gave a flying start with an opening stand of 222 runs. Kaustub made a classy 103 (139 balls, 15 fours, 1 six) while his opening partner Chirag Khurana made a fluent 119 (158 balls, 20 fours) to set the tone for the innings. Apart from them Sairaj Sangle (58) and Praful Waghela (78*) chipped in with half centuries.

Income Tax team were again all out for 134 runs with Kaustub taking another 5 wkts for just 20 runs in 10 overs with 5 maidens as Tata Sports won by an innings and 201 runs in the most dominating manner while Kaustub silently signaled that there is a lot he can give to Mumbai Cricket in grand fashion.
