Kaustubh Pawar shines abroad as he smashes a dominating 158 in the Greater Manchester Premier League‘18

Played at the Roe Green CC, Greenleach lane, it was a One Day 50over clash between Greenmount CC XI and Roe Green CC XI where in Greenmount CC won the toss and elected to bat first with an aim of capitalizing their opportunity to bat first and make a big total.

Kaustubh Pawar who is hailed as one of the most talented batsmen in Maharashtra and one of the most shining prospects in India took control of the match single handedly. Greenmount CC made 257/8 in 50overs with 22being the 2^nd highest score apart from KP’s brilliant hundred. Kaustubh who opened the innings scored an effortless 158 off 157balls smashing 15fours and 7sixes. Kaustubh looked supremely confident and smashed some really regal shots displaying pure dominance on the English wickets against the overseas bowlers. It was on the back of his timely 158 Greenmount CC reached a total of 257 in 50 overs.

On the other hand, Roe Green CC were all out for 141runs in mere 36.3 overs as Greenmount CC won the match by a healthy margin of 112runs. Kaustubh bagged 2wkts with the ball too making it an all-round perfomance.

With a big ton and 2wkts in the same match, Kaustubh seems to be in good form getting back to his groove!
