Spinner Rahul Jogadia’s 7/41 steers Young Maharashtra CC to a win in the Kanga League 2017
Left-arm spinners have been a revelation this season and especially in Kanga & Rahul Jogadia is one of the biggest revelations in this season of Kanga as far as spin bowling is concerned. Jogadia has bowled accurately well, has taken wickets at a consistent level and helped his team win on numerous occasions. What’s more with 31wkts in just 9innings shows the class he possesses with the ball. Also those 9innings included 3five wkt hauls and 3four wicket hauls.
Rahul who played his last Kanga match on 26th November vs Mangrol CC ended the tournament in style with his 3rd five 5wkt haul. Maharashtra Young Cricketers who won the toss elected to bat first declared their innings on 171/9 where in Sushilkumar top scored with 42 & Prashant with 39. Shashank Mistry was the pick of the bowlers with 3wkts while Rahul & Abhimanyu took 2wkts each. Mangrol CC were however given a great reply with the ball as Young Maharashtra cricketers bundled them out for just 139runs in 33.4 overs.
Left-arm spinner Rahul Jogadia was the pick of the bowlers as he came up with terrific bowling figures of 7/41 in 15.4 overs which did the maximum damage. Rahul spun the ball like a pro with excellent line and length as he came up crucial blows at the right time to help his team win the match on 1st innings lead.
