Talented kids like ayush just assure you time and again that cricketing blood in India is very healthy and our future is certainly in safe hands. Ayush who has been in a terrific form both with the bat as well as with the ball continues his purple patch as he again scored a fluent century against Dilip Vengsarkar’s XI at Karnataka Cricket Ground(Cross Maidan in Mumbai).
Dilip Vengsarkar who batted first managed to score 253/10 on the board which seemed to be not enough for the in-form Tendulkar’s XI. Arpit Dhanawade scored a valiant 49 while Aditya Rawat scored 48 but they lacked support from the other batsman. The bowlers did a very nice job where in they chipped in with wickets at the right time. All-rounder Ayush Jethwa chipped in with 3wkts while the other bowlers also bowled well around him. In reply, Sachin Tendulkar’s XI scored 323/9 in 91 overs where in Ayush scored a magnificent century scoring 116 off just 145balls. Ayush who smashed 20 boundaries in his yet another promising knock got able support from Pratham Nambiar who scored a solid 46. Shashwat and Parth bowled well taking 3 & 2wkts respectively but eventually at the end of the 2nd day’s play Tendulkar’s XI were declared winners on 1st innings.
