Viraj Gamare scalps 5wkts vs United Cricketers in the Ongoing Kanga League 2017/18
Held at the Cross Maidan ground in Mumbai, it was a match between two experienced teams namely United Cricketers & Worli SC where in Worli SC won the toss & elected to field first considering the ongoing damp rainy conditions.
Worli’s decision to bowl first was quite spot on as United Cricketers were bundled out for just 74 runs in 39.5 overs where in Tushar armarkar was the highest scorer with a fighting 31 off 63balls. The rest of the batsman crumbled like a pack of cards as Worli’s all-rounder Viraj Gamare bowled with consistent line and length taking 5/29 in his 15 overs. Viraj’s fast bowling was hard to decode by the opposition while Dhaval Patel & Harshad terwankar also supported well with 3 and 2wkts respectivelyWorli’s decision to bowl first was quite spot on as United Cricketers were bundled out for just 74 runs in 39.5 overs where in Tushar armarkar was the highest scorer with a fighting 31 off 63balls.
