Vinoo Mankad Trophy: North Zone beats East Zone; DB Dangi scores century, Himmat Singh shines yet again

Fine knock by DB Dangi 115 and good knock by North Zone Captain Himmat Singh 89 runs 10 fours and 3 sixes  and their 174 runs partnership for the 2^nd wicket  helped North Zone beat East Zone by 110 runs in the Vinoo Mankad inter Zonal cricket tournament at Cuttack.

North zone scored 300 for 6 in allotted 50 overs. DB Dangi 115 and Himmat Singh 89 and Sarthak Ranjan 39 were the main scorers. For East Zone Kazi Junaid Sifi 3/29 was the most successful bowler. In reply East Zone were the bundled out 190 in 42.2 overs. This is 2^nd victory for North Zone.

North Zone Captain Himmat Singh won the toss and elected to bat first. partnerships: First wicket 72 runs in 14.1 overs, 2^nd wicket 174 runs Db Dangi and Himmat Singh.
