Vansh Dhanwangale Slams Century in Harris Shield Clash, Trained Under Coach Ajit Rodrigues

In a standout performance in the prestigious Harris/Giles Shield Cricket Tournament, Vansh Dhanwangale hammered a superb 100 off 118 balls to help Hill Spring International School (Tardeo) post a dominant 324 against Our Lady of Good Counsel High School.

The match saw Good Counsel win the toss and opt to bowl first, but it was Vansh’s patient and composed knock that set the tone for Hill Spring’s innings. Mixing solid technique with calculated strokeplay, he anchored the innings under pressure and notched up a well-earned century  a knock that ultimately proved decisive.

Backed by contributions from other batters, Hill Spring posted a formidable total. In reply, Good Counsel couldn’t keep up with the scoreboard pressure and fell short by 75 runs, giving Hill Spring a comfortable win.

What makes Vansh’s century even more noteworthy is the fact that he’s been sharpening his skills under the guidance of Ajit Rodrigues  the head coach of Hill Spring International. Rodrigues, a seasoned coach known for producing technically sound young cricketers, also runs the Speed Spin Pro Cricket Academy in Virar, where Vansh trains regularly.
