Unmukt Chand (51) & Saurabh Tiwary (41*) help Reliance win in the DY Patil T20 Cup‘19

DY Patil “A” after being made to bat first on their home ground at DY Patil Stadium managed to score just an average total of 153/9 in 20 overs.

KKR’s dependable opener Robin Uthappa played his natural game opening the innings to score a 31 ball 47 being the top scorer for DY Patil.

Chasing 154, Reliance were off to a solid start with their skipper Umnmukt Chand opening the innings scoring a 45 ball 51 (3 fours, 2 sixes) to anchor the chase. Saurabh Tiwary and Ankul Roy at no.3 and 4 did the finishing role where in Saurabh remained unbeaten on 33 ball 41* while Ankul’s 14ball came of 34* was a treat to the eyes as he finished of the chase in style with 3 biggies.

Reliance 1 won the match by 7 wkts and 1.1 overs to spare while it was a collectively good bowling and batting display by the Reliance boys.
