Un-seasonal rains in Mumbai disrupts the cricket schedule

Rain gods visited Mumbai over the weekend (28Feb & 1 March 2015) disrupting the cricket schedule. Quite a few tournaments and matches were either cancelled or rescheduled.

Here is a quick list of tournaments and matches that were affected –

1) Kapole T-20 Cup tournament which was scheduled to start from 1 March 2015 didn’t see a single ball being bowled.

2) Match between Reliance Vs CMA of Dreamz Trophy  was cut short in second innings.

3) Final match of Inter-CGI corporate cricket tournament, organized by Dreamz Sports got cancelled and the winners were mutually decided.

4) Most of the Kanga league Practice matches were cancelled.

5) Few matches of JKT-20 Rotary cricket tournament were cancelled.

6) Match between Omni Marines Vs Mahindra Finance under County Premier League was cancelled.

6) Times Shield of MCA (Mumbai Cricket Association) – Winners of these matches were decided as per the net run rate.
