The Fastest T20 Hundred in Mumbai: Sanket Kankonkar hits a hundred in 33 Balls in T20 Masters Cup ‘18

It was certainly a treat for the spectators at the Vengsarkar Academy in Mahul. Deutsche Bank batting first were in trouble at one point with their scoreboard reading 24/3 and 57/4. In came Sanket at no.6 who reminded us of every T20 batsman right from Brendon Mccullum to AB De Villiers.

Sanket completely changed the game demolishing every bowler’s bowling figures as he went heavy on bowlers right from the 1^st ball. Sanket changed the game in the 2^nd half as he scored a scintillating 105* facing only 33 balls laced with 8 fours and 10 sixes. It was an innings of pure belligerence and entertainment as he pushed his team to a total of 191/7 in 20 overs.

In reply JSW Steel were all out for 97 runs with Sagar Chemburkar and A Jhulka bagging 3 wkts each. Sanket also chipped in with the ball taking a wicket making it an all-round show. Deutsche Bank won the match by a big margin of 94 runs while we got to see one of the fastest T20 Hundreds in Mumbai cricket from the bat of Sanket.
