Sumit’s 20ball 41 and Faiz’s tight bowling helps Cricket Maniac win over SSCC in the Cricket Adda Cup T20 Cup 2017

Held at the Cricket Adda Sports Ground at Gurgaon in Haryanam it was a match between two strong teams namely Cricket Maniacs and SSCC where in SSCC won the toss & elected to bat first with an aim of putting the opposition under pressure.

Batting first, SSCC did a good job with the bat as they scored a competitive 176/8 in 20 overs. Even though not a single batsman crossed the 50run mark but what was positive in their innings was almost every batsman chipped in with 20’s and 30’s with Umesh Sharma being the top scorer with a 30ball 37. From the bowling side, it was Faiz who did a decent job with the ball as he remained economical while also took 3wkts in his 3/26 in 4 overs.

Chasing 177 is not the easiest of tasks but Cricket Maniacs managed to chase down the score successfully in 19.5 overs. Nitesh & C. Maniac Player 3 chipped in with 36 and 38 off just 22balls but it was Sumit at no.4 who scored an impactful and a match-winning 20ball 41(6fours and 1six at a strike rate of 205) to change the course of the game.
