Stunning 208* run stand by Sarfaraz Jumani (116) & Naved Sharif (92*) steers Petit Panthers to a win in JFSC Dads Premier League’21
Played at MIG Cricket Ground in Vidyavihar, JNS Mustangs opting to bat first scored a hefty total of 235/3 in 20 overs. Opener Karan Jain top scored for his team with a brilliant knock of 105 runs in mere 59 balls, a knock which included 18 fours and 1 sixes with a strike rate of close to 178.00. Karan was well supported by Rahul Sugand who scored an equally quickfire knock of 75* in 34 balls laced with 13 fours and a six.
Chasing 236 in a T20 match is quite difficult and the pressure was certainly riding high on Petit Panthers team. However, their opener Sarfaraz Jumani (116*) and Naved Sharif (92*) stitched a match winning stand of 200+ runs for the 4th wicket which turned the game in their favor. Both the players took on the bowlers with pure carnage while they also absorbed the pressure smashing 10 sixes and 22 fours between them. Sarfaraz took mere 53 balls to score his 116* while Naved scored a 49 ball 92* to push their team towards a memorable win by 7 wickets and 1.1 over to spare.
