Skipper Jaycool Girase leads from the front as he scores a solid 52 and scalps 2wkts for KC Gandhi in the Salgaonkar T20 Trophy

Played at Union Cricket Ground in Kalyan, two promising teams namely KC Gandhi & Union CA clashed against each other where Union C.A won the toss & elected to field first in order to put KC boys under pressure by restricting them to a low total.

Batting first, KC Gandhi could have batted well with a little more aggression to cross the 150 run mark but eventually they made 104/4 in 20 overs. Skipper Jaycool Girase led from the front scoring a solid 52 off just 52balls. While the rest of the batsman were not able to score freely, jaycool kept the scoreboard ticking smashing 6 fours in his brisk half century. Opener Gautam took his time but could not covert his start and same was the case with the other batsman too.

Chasing 104 should not be a difficulty but KC boys gave a comeback with the ball as Union CA was all out for 84/10 in 18.1 overs. The bowlers really bowled tight with Parth Darange taking 3/17 followed by 2wtks each for Sahil gupta, hritik pandey & skipper jaycool girase.
